How Licensing Works (X/Y Licenses)

A standard PSL Page Builder License can be installed on 2 computers with only 1 of them active at a time.

Many customers order 2 or 3 licenses and we always use the term 2x/4y or 3x/6y to describe those licenses.

So if you have a 3x/6y license it means you have 3 licenses that can be installed on up to 6 computers but only 3 can be active at the same time.

These options give you a lot of flexibility not normally found in other software packages.

If a user would like to work on PSL Page Builder with another PC they should:

• open PSL on the current activation
• click on – Options
• select – Deactivate License
• if PSL is not yet installed on the alternate PC – install it based on instructions here

then…

• click on – Options
• cut and paste your Serial#
• keep track of the System Name you assign, might need it for future reference.

Once you have PSL installed on 6 PC’s, then it’s just a matter of Activating and Deactivating as needed.
